Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shower/Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and remodeling showers, tiles, and related fixtures with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating beautiful, functional spaces that meet our clients' expectations. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation of shower enclosures, tiles, and fixtures. Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials such as plaster or caulking for a smooth finish. Install tiles, grout, waterproof membranes, shower pans, fixtures, and related building materials according to specifications. Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing materials. Collaborate with project managers, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes seamlessly. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to ensure adherence to safety standards and blueprint specifications. Requirements Proven experience in tile masonry installation, shower remodeling, or related construction work. Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical components related to bathroom fixtures, and gutter installation is a plus. Proficiency with construction management software such as Bluebeam is desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed blueprints accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment safely. Strong understanding of building material installation techniques including caulking and fixture mounting. Excellent dimensional measurement skills combined with attention to detail for precise work execution. Prior experience in remodeling projects within residential or commercial settings is preferred. Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
