Woodworking Lead

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Wood Working Lead to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone with strong experience in wood flooring, stair work, sanding, and refinishing . The right person must be able to lead by example, work alongside the crew, and deliver high-quality workmanship. Candidates must live within the Sacramento to Colfax area to ensure reliable access to our shop in Newcastle . Our projects may be in different locations, but we need someone who is local to this area.

Responsibilities:

Lead and work alongside crew members on wood flooring projects Install wood flooring and complete stair work Sand and refinish hardwood floors Complete treads, risers, landings, trim, and transitions Maintain quality workmanship and jobsite efficiency Help keep projects on schedule Communicate clearly with crew and management Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite Identify and solve jobsite issues in the field

Qualifications:

Strong experience with wood flooring installation Must know how to do stairs Must know how to sand and refinish wood floors Ability to lead while also working hands-on in the field Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented Must have reliable transportation Must live within the Sacramento to Colfax area Valid driver's license preferred

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
