In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring a variety of flooring materials across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces by ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Install a wide range of flooring materials such as vinyl, laminate, and carpet with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Prepare surfaces by leveling, sanding, or repairing subfloors to create a smooth foundation for flooring installation Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and finishing processes Conduct floor refinishing tasks including buffing, sanding, sealing, and water damage restoration to restore or enhance existing floors Follow building material installation safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations on construction sites Assist with other construction-related tasks such as drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, baseboards, fixture installation, and remodeling projects as needed Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation Skilled in handling hand tools and power tools used in flooring work such as saws, drills, sanders, and tile cutters Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints Familiarity with various flooring types including laminate, vinyl, carpet installation, and floor refinishing methods Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while working on construction sites for extended periods Experience with customer support Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and building installation safety compliance Additional skills in cabinetry installation, drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry or handyman work are advantageous Join our team to build beautiful spaces while advancing your skills in a supportive environment that values craftsmanship and safety.
