Pay runs $55 to $95 per hour. You bring 2 or more years of commercial flooring experience, proven LVT on large quantity pulls, and heat welded seams. You run jobs from prep to final walkthrough. Who You Are You are a finish craftsman who takes pride in a flush weld, a clean cove, and a floor no one has to check twice. You bring coved vinyl sheet work with flash cove base, corners, groove routing, skiving, pattern matching, and double stick installs. You bring skill with a groover, heat welder, skiving tools, power stretchers, seam irons, tile cutters, and saws, plus your own hand tools. You bring plan reading for floor plans and finish schedules, math for layout and material estimating, and a high school diploma or GED. You bring a valid driver license, transportation to job sites, and the stamina to lift 50 plus pounds and kneel through a long day of repetitive work. Who We Are Peacock Floors has laid commercial flooring in San Francisco since 1981, now under three generations of family ownership. We serve general contractors, property managers, and design teams across the Bay Area. We are LBE and WBE certified, with a local warehouse and year round commercial work. What You Will Do Each Day Prep substrates by pulling old flooring, patching cracks, and pouring self leveling compound. Lay out and install commercial LVT, managing starting lines, racking patterns, and waste. Template vinyl sheet around fixtures, then groove rout, weld rod, and skive seams flush. Install base and trim, clear the punch list, and flag plan conflicts with the superintendent. Why You Will Love Working Here Pay runs $55 to $95 per hour. Full time onsite work as a Commercial Flooring Installer, with your choice of W2 employee or 1099 subcontractor.
