In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring a variety of flooring materials across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will help transform our clients' spaces while ensuring every project is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine the scope of flooring installation projects. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, repairing, and installing the proper underlayments for successful flooring installation. Install a wide variety of flooring materials including hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, tile, epoxy, carpet, and other flooring systems. Safely operate hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install flooring materials with precision. Perform floor refinishing tasks including sanding, buffing, sealing, and water damage restoration when needed. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Work closely with project managers, installers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality. Requirements Previous experience in flooring installation or a related construction trade. Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools used in the flooring industry. Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings. Experience installing hardwood, vinyl, laminate, carpet, tile, and epoxy flooring is highly preferred. Ability to safely lift and carry flooring materials throughout the workday. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to producing high quality workmanship. Knowledge of estimating, remodeling, trim carpentry, concrete preparation, painting, cabinet installation, restoration work, or general handyman experience is a plus.
