Job Description

Floor Manager - Veterinary Technician Training & Development Are you an experienced Veterinary Technician with a passion for mentoring, teaching, and developing team culture? North Springs Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center is seeking a collaborative, people-focused Floor Manager to lead the training, development, and growth of our veterinary technician team. What You'll Do Hands-On Coaching & Training (Primary Focus): Spend your days on the floor delivering real-time instruction, mentorship, and practical guidance to technicians across all shifts.
Program Strategy & Development:
Partner with our Practice Manager, ER Director, and hospital leadership to design and execute skill assessments, structured onboarding, clear career advancement pathways, and objective review systems.
Culture & Team Leadership:
Foster a respectful, collaborative, and positive workplace. Coordinate with managers across departments to ensure seamless communication and a healthy work environment.
Performance & Growth:
Conduct regular skill evaluations, identify learning opportunities, and build individualized development plans to help technicians reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For Clinical Background:
Strong hands-on experience as a Veterinary Technician (ER and/or specialty care preferred).
Leadership & Mentorship:
Proven success coaching, training, or leading team members in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Communication & Conflict Resolution:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback, de-escalate workplace tension, and lead with empathy and integrity.
Organized & Adaptable:
Skilled at creating structured workflows and following through on execution in an evolving environment.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$65,000.00 per year (Salaried Exempt)
Bonus Eligibility:
Annual performance bonus opportunity of up to $5,000 (contingent upon individual and company goal achievement)
