Competitive per-measure rate (typical range $35-50 per completed in-home measure). A well-established flooring and home-improvement company is looking for independent measure contractors to cover residential jobs across the region. This is 1099 contract work for an experienced, self-sufficient professional with their own vehicle and tools. You set your availability; we route the work. Steady volume for the right contractor.

What the work involves:

In-home measurement of residential flooring projects Accurate diagrams and material takeoffs, delivered on time via tablet software Professional, reliable service in customers' homes Coverage across a defined territory, with some longer rural drives What we're looking for: Experience measuring flooring or a related trade (independent or prior employment) Your own reliable vehicle and measuring tools (laser, tablet) Registered as an independent contractor / able to invoice as 1099 Dependable turnaround and clean, accurate work To apply, please include: (1) your relevant experience — how many years and what type; (2) confirmation you have your own vehicle and measuring tools, and how far you're willing to travel; (3) your rate expectation (per measure or per day).
