Epoxy Flooring Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Flooring Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying epoxy coatings, and ensuring high-quality flooring installations across various commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with durable, visually appealing epoxy floors that meet client specifications and industry standards. Duties Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings Mix and apply epoxy resins, primers, sealers, and topcoats with precision using hand tools and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate installation Use hand tools, caulking guns, buffing machines, and other equipment to complete flooring projects efficiently Perform surface testing for moisture levels and surface integrity prior to application Assist with related construction tasks such as tile laying, cabinet installation, or trim carpentry as needed during projects Maintain a clean work environment by managing debris, securing materials, and adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation, epoxy coating application, or related construction fields Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and floor care techniques Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, concrete finishing, water damage restoration, and restoration industry practices Ability to operate various equipment including buffing machines, concrete grinders, and fixture installation tools Construction site experience with a focus on safety procedures and quality standards Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges Prior handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus; certification in construction painting or carpentry is advantageous Join us as an Epoxy Flooring Technician and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional flooring solutions!
