Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tile Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, hardwood, epoxy, and carpet, to transform spaces into beautiful and functional environments. Your expertise will ensure precise craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial installations, contributing directly to the quality and durability of our clients' floors. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by measuring, cutting, and leveling subfloors according to project specifications and technical drawings. Install various flooring materials such as tile, hardwood, vinyl, epoxy coatings, and carpet with precision and attention to detail. Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate layout and placement of flooring components. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing flooring materials. Conduct floor refinishing tasks including buffing, sealing, caulking joints, and water damage restoration when necessary. Ensure compliance with building installation safety standards and industry regulations throughout all phases of installation. Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and remodelers to coordinate project timelines and quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on flooring installation or related building material projects. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with a variety of flooring types including tile laying, hardwood installation, vinyl flooring, epoxy floors, and carpet installation. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, trowels), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), and manual handling techniques for heavy or bulky materials. Familiarity with building material installation safety compliance protocols on construction sites. Ability to perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing and water damage restoration effectively. Strong carpentry skills along with experience in remodeling projects or handyman work are advantageous. Excellent manual dexterity combined with physical stamina for long hours on-site working on floors at various heights or levels.
