IN-HOME FLOORING MEASURER

Miami FL and Surrounding Areas Independent Contractor Opportunity (1099) — Not a Remote Position We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused independent contractor to perform in-home flooring measurements and consultations throughout Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, working independently, using technology, and helping homeowners move forward with their flooring projects. Flooring, construction, estimating, or home-improvement experience is helpful, but we will provide training and support.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Visit customers in their homes for scheduled appointments Listen to each customer's needs and project expectations Accurately measure rooms and other project areas Create detailed digital floor diagrams Evaluate existing site conditions and identify installation requirements Take required photographs and prepare detailed project notes Review flooring selections and installation details with customers Answer questions and help customers understand their available options Prepare invoices and update estimates when project details change Submit complete and accurate documentation promptly Communicate professionally with customers and Keller's internal support team Travel throughout Jacksonville and the surrounding service area

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong customer-service and communication skills Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor Excellent attention to detail and active-listening skills Ability to work independently and manage scheduled appointments Basic math proficiency Comfort using tablets, smartphones, CRM systems, and digital tools Prior flooring, construction, estimating, sales, or home-improvement experience is preferred but not required Positive attitude and willingness to learn

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory Smartphone and basic computer/tablet skills Ability to pass a background check Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and measure areas inside customers' homes Availability to accommodate customer appointments Monday through Saturday

COMPENSATION
