Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tile Flooring Installer and bring beautiful, durable flooring solutions to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, vinyl, epoxy, and carpet, across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately lay out flooring installations. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayment or adhesives to ensure optimal installation conditions. Install various flooring types such as tile, hardwood, vinyl, epoxy floors, and carpets with precision and attention to detail. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials. Perform floor refinishing tasks including buffing, sealing, caulking, and water damage restoration to enhance durability and appearance. Follow building installation safety compliance protocols to maintain a safe working environment on construction sites. Assist with remodeling projects and fixture installations as needed to support comprehensive building upgrades. Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation, including tile laying, hardwood, vinyl, epoxy floors, and carpet installation. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding building plans. Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, saws, chisels, as well as power tools like drills and grinders. Ability to handle manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently. Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards related to building material installation. Familiarity with restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration and floor refinishing techniques. Additional skills in caulking, fixture installation, remodeling projects, buffing floors, and general handyman tasks are highly desirable.
