In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring various types of flooring surfaces, including tile, hardwood, vinyl, epoxy, and carpet. Your expertise will help transform spaces by delivering high-quality flooring solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovation and restoration jobs, ensuring safety and precision at every step. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of tile flooring and related materials Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or adhesives for optimal flooring adhesion Install a variety of flooring materials such as ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, hardwood, vinyl, epoxy coatings, and carpeting with precision and craftsmanship Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials according to project requirements Perform floor refinishing tasks including buffing, sealing, caulking, and water damage restoration to ensure a seamless finish Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules while adhering to safety protocols and building codes Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout each project phase Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation including tile laying, hardwood floor installation, vinyl flooring, epoxy floor application, and carpet installation Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or construction plans Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, saws; power tools including drills and grinders; as well as specialized equipment for epoxy or water damage restoration Familiarity with building material installation standards and safety compliance regulations on construction sites Ability to handle manual tasks involving lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently Experience with remodeling projects or the restoration industry is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail combined with strong manual dexterity to ensure precise installations Join our team if you're passionate about creating beautiful floors that stand the test of time!
