Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Service Technician specializing in Flooring to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional flooring maintenance, cleaning, and refinishing services across various commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that floors are safe, clean, and visually appealing, contributing to a high standard of environmental hygiene and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive floor cleaning tasks including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to restore floors to their optimal condition. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals and chemical agents safely and effectively, following all safety protocols. Operate a variety of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaning machines to maintain different flooring surfaces. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment and materials necessary for floor maintenance projects. Execute specialized floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning, floor buffing, waxing, and refinishing to meet client specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to janitorial standards and environmental services best practices. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during service visits. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on flooring maintenance. Strong knowledge of floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing techniques. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while ensuring safety for oneself and others. Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, polishers, and carpet cleaners. Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling required for equipment setup and maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Familiarity with environmental services standards related to janitorial work and sustainable cleaning practices.
