Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Carpet Installer to join our dynamic construction and flooring team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation of carpets and other flooring materials, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will guide a team of installers, coordinate with project managers, and uphold safety and quality protocols across all job sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional passionate about flooring installation and construction craftsmanship to lead projects from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of carpet installers, ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to execute flooring projects effectively Prepare job sites by handling manual tasks such as measuring, cutting, and setting up materials using hand tools and power tools Install various types of flooring including carpet, vinyl, hardwood, tile, epoxy floors, and perform floor refinishing as needed Manage material handling, including loading, unloading, and proper storage of building materials while adhering to safety standards Ensure all installation work complies with building material installation codes and safety regulations Coordinate with clients, project managers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and project milestones are met Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, flooring installation (carpet, vinyl, hardwood, tile), epoxy floor installation, and water damage restoration Strong knowledge of building material installation techniques including caulking, fixture installation, floor refinishing, buffing, and restoration processes Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for accurate project execution Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in flooring installation and carpentry tasks Demonstrated ability in manual handling of heavy materials safely across construction sites Extensive construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance during building installation projects Familiarity with remodeling projects and handyman tasks related to flooring and general building maintenance Join us to lead innovative flooring projects that transform spaces!
