Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Carpet Installer to join our dynamic construction and flooring team. In this role, you will oversee the installation of carpets and other flooring materials, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. As a leader on-site, you will coordinate with team members, interpret technical drawings, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations. Your expertise in various flooring types and construction techniques will drive successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of carpet installers and flooring technicians on multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute flooring installations including carpet, epoxy floors, vinyl, hardwood, tile, and floor refinishing Manage all aspects of flooring installation processes, from surface preparation to final finishing, including caulking, fixture installation, and water damage restoration when needed Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while maintaining safety protocols to prevent accidents on-site Coordinate manual handling activities for heavy or bulky materials to ensure safe lifting and placement Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with building material installation safety standards Assist with estimating construction costs related to flooring projects and contribute to project planning efforts Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, building material installation, and flooring installation including carpet, epoxy floors, vinyl floors, hardwoods, tiles, and floor refinishing Strong knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for accurate project execution Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently on construction sites Extensive construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance in building installation activities Familiarity with restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration and general remodeling projects Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety Excellent manual handling skills for heavy materials along with handyman experience or carpentry background preferred Join us as a Lead Carpet Installer if you're passionate about delivering top-quality flooring solutions while leading teams through challenging projects.
