Duties Measure, cut, and install various flooring materials including hardwood, LVP, laminate, & carpet. Prepare subfloors by leveling surfaces, removing old flooring, and ensuring proper surface conditions for installation Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations with precision. Perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing, sanding, sealing, and water damage restoration to restore floors to their optimal condition Handle manual tasks including lifting heavy materials, caulking seams, fixture installation, and water damage restoration processes Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to building installation safety compliance standards and best practices Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation across various materials such as hardwood, vinyl, carpet laying, and floor refinishing Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely and effectively Experience with building material installation including caulking, fixture installation, restoration work, and handling water damage repair Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and compliance standards for building installation projects Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving lifting heavy flooring materials or equipment over extended periods Knowledge of remodeling projects and handyman skills is a plus for versatile project support Construction site experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship in diverse environments If you're ready to bring your flooring expertise into a role that values quality work and safety while offering opportunities for growth—apply now!
