As a valued team member, you will be responsible for installing carpets. Your role will involve interpreting technical drawings, handling various building materials, and ensuring all installations meet safety standards and quality expectations. Responsibilities Install carpets Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials Interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate installation aligning with client expectations Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors or existing flooring before installation Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials, caulking fixtures, buffing surfaces, and water damage restoration efforts Adhere strictly to building installation safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment Assist in remodeling projects by performing carpentry tasks, fixture installation, floor refinishing, and general handyman duties as needed Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on flooring projects Familiarity with construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings or plans Hands-on experience with carpet installation Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely for various building material installations Knowledge of building material handling, safety compliance standards, and restoration industry practices Previous work on construction sites demonstrating good manual handling skills and ability to work in physically demanding environments Additional experience in caulking, fixture installation, or general handyman tasks is highly desirable Join us in delivering top-quality flooring solutions that enhance homes!
