Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installation Specialist or team to join our dynamic restorationcompany. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials . Your expertise will help transform spaces by ensuring precise, durable, and high-quality flooring solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to creating beautiful, functional environments. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans and schematics to determine the scope of flooring projects Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments for optimal flooring adhesion Install various types of flooring including epoxy, vinyl, hardwood, tile, and laminate with precision and care Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials according to specifications Perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing, sanding, sealing, and water damage restoration to restore floors to their best condition Handle building materials with manual handling techniques ensuring safety and efficiency during installation processes Follow all building installation safety compliance standards to maintain a safe work environment at all times Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating and building material installation with a focus on flooring projects Skilled in hardwood floor installation, tile laying, vinyl floor installation, and showers. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans for accurate execution of projects Proficient in using hand tools such as caulking guns, trim carpentry tools, and various power tools required for flooring work Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, sanding, sealing, and restoration industry practices Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety protocols and building installation safety compliance Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards during heavy lifting or material transport Additional skills in fixture installation, cabinet installation, remodeling projects, painting, drywall, damage restoration or handyman experience are considered advantageous Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship in flooring installation!
