Flooring Installer Assistant

Installer Helper - Commercial Flooring The Installer Helper supports a Lead Installer on commercial job sites. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and transport materials throughout job sites Perform demolition, floor preparation, scraping, cleanup, and patching (training provided) Stage materials and tools for installers Assist with layout, cutting, and installation as directed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:

Arrive on time and prepared to work Follow instructions carefully and work with a sense of urgency Ability to lift 50-75 lbs on a regular basis Comfortable working on your feet or knees in an active job site environment for extended periods Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, or weekends as required Willingness to travel, as many projects are out of town

Experience:

Previous construction or flooring experience is preferred but not required Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn This is a physically demanding position. Candidates who are dependable, attentive, and motivated to learn the trade will have opportunities for growth and advancement.
