•Requirements for ALL Installers Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment Working from a kneeling, crouching or bent over position frequently Attention to detail Must be able to follow installation instructions/prescribed method of install Strong work ethic (reliable with a positive attitude) Own basic tools Own transportation Good customer service/manners Flooring Installer - (wood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, soft flooring) Unloading material, equipment, and supplies Sanding, cleaning, and tearing up existing floors Applying epoxy coating using trowels, hand grinders, rollers and paintbrushes Ability to perform a floating installation Operating handheld power tools and other equipment Cut and trim carpet and soft flooring along walls edges, openings, and projections Secure transitions/thresholds Sweeping, wiping down, and cleaning up jobsite at the end of each day
Requirements:
Valid driver's license is preferable. Good arithmetic skills. Ability to install all types of flooring with minimal supervision. Capable of independent and group work. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities. Thorough and efficient. Physically fit and able to lift large, heavy equipment and materials up to 50 lbs.
