There are no relocation expenses offered for this position. •Compensation commensurate on experience •Requirements for ALL Installers Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment, 60#+ Working from a kneeling, crouching or bent over position frequently Attention to detail Must be able to follow installation instructions/prescribed method of install Strong work ethic (reliable with a positive attitude) Own basic tools Own transportation Good customer service/manners Tile Installer - (ceramic and stone) Same as above Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using both power and hand tools Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and commercial areas Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles Follow blueprints/plans precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs Flooring Installer - (wood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, soft flooring) Unloading material, equipment, and supplies Sanding, cleaning, and tearing up existing floors Applying epoxy coating using trowels, hand grinders, rollers and paintbrushes Ability to perform a floating installation Operating handheld power tools and other equipment Cut and trim carpet and soft flooring along walls edges, openings, and projections Secure transitions/thresholds Sweeping, wiping down, and cleaning up jobsite at the end of each day
