Flooring Installer

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking flooring Installers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including carpet tile, ceramic tile and vinyl, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Starting wage is negotiable. Looking for skilled laborers and fresh hires looking to add a new skillset. Work is often in and out of town. Out of town jobs requiring overnight stay pay a per diem of $60 a night. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install different flooring materials such as tile, laminate, and vinyl according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors or existing flooring as needed. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening flooring materials. Perform related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and water damage restoration when required. Assist in demolition and removal of old flooring or damaged materials prior to installation. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining a clean work environment. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope.
