Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in flooring installation, particularly carpet, and possess a strong understanding of construction practices. This role involves working on various residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality installations that meet client specifications and industry standards. Valid Driver's License required. Subject to background check. Duties Measure and cut carpet materials to fit designated areas accurately. Install carpet using appropriate techniques and tools, ensuring a seamless finish. Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as necessary. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for flooring solutions. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols on construction sites. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from clients during the installation process. Skills Proficiency in flooring installation techniques, including carpet laying. Experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking, trim carpentry. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
