The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration, with a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. This role requires a blend of technical skills and hands-on experience in various aspects of construction and remodeling projects. Responsibilities Perform flooring installation, including wood floors and tiles, ensuring precision and quality. Lay tiles according to specifications, including cutting and fitting as necessary. Conduct construction estimating to determine project costs and materials needed. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Execute carpentry tasks, including trim carpentry and cabinet installation. Engage in water damage restoration projects, ensuring proper techniques are applied. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Provide exceptional customer service while working on-site. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in flooring installation and tile laying. Background in construction with site experience. Familiarity with construction estimating processes. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking, buffing, concrete finishing, and construction painting. Knowledge of restoration practices within the restoration industry is preferred. Maintenance Person experience is a plus, along with skills in remodeling and fixture installation.
