Job Overview MBM Inc. is hiring for a reliable and detail-oriented Floorcare Technician (EVS Housekeeping) to support floor maintenance schedule at the Kirk Army Health Clinic , a military medical facility in Aberdeen Proven Grounds, MD. This job does not require military service , but applicants must pass a federal background check for base access. We are hiring for the following shift: Part-Time - Weekdays (Mon-Fri, 5:00pm - 9:00pm) Primary Responsibilities Position requires cleaning and maintaining appearance of all flooring surfaces throughout the facility in accordance with standard procedures of the housekeeping department and with hospital objectives. Duties include (but are not limited to): Performs sweeping, mopping, scrubbing of hard flooring surfaces following standard operating procedures. Vacuums and scrubs carpeted surfaces following procedures. Moves furniture and other objects as needed in order to complete floor care and returns all moved items to their original place upon completion. Monitors supply and requests additional cleaning solutions as needed. Ensures all floor machines are kept clean and in proper working condition. Handles various types of cleaning chemicals in compliance with established guidelines and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Reports any conditions requiring maintenance attention or repair to immediate supervisor. Performs other housekeeping duties as assigned. Job Requirements Must pass a federal background check (DBIDS access for Navy base) Ability to read, understand, and follow cleaning procedures and schedules in English Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for long periods Valid government-issued ID and reliable transportation Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work independently Preferred But Not Required Prior floor care, custodial and/or housekeeping experience in a healthcare or military setting Familiarity with infection control procedures and SDS (Safety Data Sheets) Floor care experience (stripping, waxing, buffing) Work Environment This position is located on a military installation and serves a medical treatment facility All uniforms and cleaning equipment are provided Team-oriented culture with clear safety and quality expectations How to Apply Please apply directly through Indeed .
