KSI is looking for experienced independent flooring contractors to install hardwood and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) for residential remodeling and new-construction projects. KSI has served Michigan homeowners and builders for more than 50 years. We manage the sales, scheduling, and project administration so our installation partners can focus on completing quality work. Contractors receive consistent project opportunities, clear communication, and reliable payment. Responsibilities Install hardwood and LVP flooring according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Review the jobsite and confirm that conditions are suitable before installation begins. Identify and communicate concerns involving subfloor condition, floor flatness, moisture, materials, or project scope. Complete necessary floor preparation as outlined in the work order. Install transitions, trim, and other required finishing components. Communicate installation expectations and jobsite needs with the homeowner. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area. Manage each assigned installation from start to completion. Qualifications At least 5 years of professional hardwood and LVP installation experience. Experience with floating, glue-down, and nail-down installation methods. Knowledge of subfloor preparation, floor-flatness requirements, moisture testing, transitions, trim, and finishing details. Ability to read work orders and follow product-specific installation requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Professional communication and customer-service skills. Current workers' compensation and general liability insurance. Reliable transportation for picking up materials and the tools necessary to complete installations.
