Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Installer/Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with the installation, repair, and finishing of various flooring materials across residential and commercial projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in flooring installation while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship. Duties Assist with the preparation of work sites, including surface cleaning, leveling, and material handling to ensure smooth installation processes Support the installation of diverse flooring types such as epoxy, vinyl, hardwood, tile, carpet, and laminate according to project specifications Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during flooring installation and related tasks Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements Aid in the removal of old flooring materials and perform floor refinishing or buffing as needed for restoration projects Help with measuring spaces accurately and cutting building materials to fit specified dimensions Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Qualifications Prior experience in construction or flooring installation is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and building materials such as drywall, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixtures Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans effectively Knowledge of safety standards related to building installation safety compliance is a plus Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods Basic understanding of construction estimating and water damage restoration processes is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving on site Join us in creating beautiful, durable floors that transform spaces!
