The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can complete residential and commercial carpet installations with a high level of quality and professionalism. Responsibilities Install carpet in residential and commercial properties according to project specifications Accurately measure and plan carpet installations Prepare floors and jobsite areas prior to installation Install carpet padding, tack strip, transitions, seams, and other necessary materials Perform carpet stretching, seaming, cutting, and fitting Identify and address jobsite or subfloor issues before and during installation Complete installations according to manufacturer and industry standards Maintain a clean and safe work area Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and the Jerry's team Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction Complete punch-list and warranty work as needed Qualifications Previous carpet installation experience required Strong knowledge of carpet installation methods and materials Ability to accurately measure, cut, seam, stretch, and install carpet Knowledge of tack strip, padding, transitions, and subfloor preparation Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and manage installation timelines Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift, carry, kneel, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods We're looking for a skilled carpet installer who takes pride in doing the job right.
