Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpet Installer to join our Rental Company. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including carpets, vinyl, and tile, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces and delivering exceptional results for our tenants. Duties Measure and accurately determine material quantities and installation requirements Cut your own carpet Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors to ensure optimal conditions for flooring installation Install various types of flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl, hardwood, tile, epoxy floors, and laminate using hand tools and power tools Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation with precision Skills Extensive experience in flooring installation including carpet, vinyl, hardwood, and tile laying. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers, trowels) and power tools necessary for construction and flooring projects Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards during heavy lifting or long hours of work Experience with drywall finishing, caulking, remodeling projects or handyman work is a plus We value skilled professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute their expertise.
