Flooring & Concrete Coatings Technician Southeast Floor Maintenance - Charlotte, NC Area Southeast Floor Maintenance is expanding and looking to add multiple full-time Flooring & Concrete Coatings Technicians to our field team. We perform residential and commercial flooring projects throughout the Charlotte and surrounding areas, including epoxy and flake flooring, concrete coatings, surface preparation, grinding, polishing, rubber flooring, decorative stone/resin systems, and other specialty flooring applications. What We're Looking For We are looking for dependable people who: Show up on time and ready to work Have a strong work ethic Are comfortable performing physical construction work Can follow instructions and work as part of a crew Pay attention to detail Take pride in the finished product Are willing to learn a skilled trade Can work indoors and outdoors Are willing to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends when projects require it Flooring or concrete-coating experience is a plus, but it is NOT required. We are willing to train the right person. Experience with any of the following is especially valuable: Epoxy and polyaspartic coatings Concrete grinding Concrete polishing Floor preparation Flake flooring Rubber flooring Resin/stone systems Painting or coatings Concrete work Construction or remodeling Pressure washing Operating grinders and other power tools Requirements Valid driver's license preferred Reliable transportation to work Ability to lift and move construction materials and equipment Ability to work on your feet for extended periods Dependable attendance Ability to follow job-site and OSHA safety requirements Professional attitude around customers and other trades Compensation Starting pay based on experience and skill level. Entry-level candidates who demonstrate reliability and learn the trade can advance as their skills and responsibilities increase.
