Tent Installer/Dismantler
Job Description
Looking for Mon-Friday, possible weekends. Must have daytime availability. Please provide what days you have availability for. A tent installer is responsible for setting up and taking down tents for various events, such as weddings, festivals, and corporate functions. The job involves physical labor and often requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The typical duties of a tent installer include: Loading and unloading tents and equipment onto trucks or trailers Transporting equipment to the event site Setting up tents according to instructions and event specifications Installing and securing tent poles, ropes, and stakes Installing and securing lighting, heating, and cooling systems Erecting additional event structures, such as stages or dance floors Ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and stored Taking down tents and equipment after the event Cleaning and storing equipment in preparation for the next event
•Experience driving box trucks and pulling up to a 28' trailer is a plus but not a requirement.
• Reliable transportation is a necessity. The ideal candidate for this job should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment. Physical fitness, including the ability to lift and carry heavy objects, is also important. No formal education is required for this position, although previous experience in event planning or construction can be beneficial.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
