| Wilmington, Brunswick County, NC, and greater areas Brighter Days Tile is hiring an experienced Lead Tile Installer to join our team. We are looking for a skilled, dependable installer who can step onto a jobsite and confidently complete professional-quality tile work without needing to be taught the trade.

Starting Pay:

$22

• 25/hour, based on experience and skill level W-2 Employee Position | Full Time

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of recent, hands-on professional tile installation experience. This requirement is firm. Please do not apply if you do not have at least 5 recent years of professional tile installation experience. Qualified applicants should have substantial experience with: Ceramic and porcelain tile Large-format tile Floors, walls, backsplashes, and showers Tile layout and planning Proper substrate and surface preparation Waterproofing systems Schluter products and installation methods Cutting, setting, grouting, and finish work Troubleshooting jobsite and installation issues Maintaining clean, organized jobsites What We're Looking For As a Lead Tile Installer, you should be able to take ownership of an installation from preparation through completion. We expect our lead installers to understand proper installation methods, produce clean and consistent work, and recognize when something isn't right before it becomes a problem. This is also a leadership and mentorship position. At the discretion of the Project Manager, you will work alongside a Tile Installation Apprentice and help train them in proper installation techniques and our company's processes. You will be expected to teach and reinforce Brighter Days Tile's standards for quality, craftsmanship, efficiency, jobsite cleanliness, and professionalism.

You must be:

Reliable and consistently on time Detail-oriented Able to work independently and as part of a crew Comfortable leading installation work on a jobsite Willing and able to teach and mentor an apprentice Able to provide direction and correct installation mistakes when necessary Professional and respectful in customers' homes Able to communicate clearly with the Project Manager and other installers Committed to doing the job correctly rather than cutting corners Able to maintain a clean and professional work environment Have reliable transportation Compensation & Schedule $22

• 25/hour starting pay , based on demonstrated experience and skill W-2 employee position 30-40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday.
