This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in detailed, professional work and enjoys working outdoors. Our installers are responsible for transforming homes with professionally installed Christmas lights, including roofline lighting, trees, bushes, driveways, wreaths, and garland. Attention to detail, symmetry, and clean installations are extremely important. What You'll Do Arrive at our shop ON TIME each day and prepare Christmas light strands by installing the proper clips and bulbs. Load ladders, light reels, jumper wire, tools, and all required equipment into company trucks. Travel to residential jobsites throughout the Lincoln & Omaha area. Custom install Christmas lights on homes according to the customer's design. Install lights neatly and symmetrically along gutters and rooflines. Install mini lights on trees, bushes, and other landscaping. Install driveway and walkway light outlines. Install wreaths, garland, and other decorative lighting. Route and secure wiring so that cords and connections are hidden whenever possible . Ensure lights are straight, evenly spaced, secure, and professionally installed. Test all lighting and timers before leaving the jobsite. Maintain a clean and organized jobsite. Safely use ladders and other roof equipment (pitch hoppers and goat ladders). Communicate professionally with customers when working at their homes. Help load and unload equipment at the beginning and end of each workday. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and punctual. Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work. Comfortable working outside in cold weather. Comfortable working from ladders and at heights. Able to safely lift and carry ladders and equipment. Physically capable of working on their feet for extended periods. Able to follow installation instructions and jobsite procedures. Someone who notices when something isn't straight, symmetrical, or properly secured. Professional and respectful when working around customers' homes. A team player who can work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results. Previous Christmas light installation, landscaping, construction, pressure washing, window cleaning, or similar experience is a plus but not required . The Standard We don't just put up Christmas lights—we custom install them . Every installation should look intentional, clean, and professional. Lights should be straight and symmetrical, wiring should be hidden as much as possible, clips should be properly positioned, and every detail should be checked before the job is complete.
