Job Overview Join our small family owned business as a Tile Setter and Installer, by expertly installing a variety of tile and related building materials. Measure dimensions precisely to ensure proper fit and alignment of tiles and materials. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion. Install a variety of tiles including ceramic, porcelain, stone, and mosaic on floors, walls, backsplashes, showers, and other surfaces. Use power tools such as saws, drills, and tile cutters safely and effectively to cut tiles to specified sizes. Perform related tasks such as grout application, caulking, etc. Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards. Experience Proven experience in tile installation with a solid understanding of material installation techniques. Hands-on experience with kitchen and bath remodels, flooring installation, etc. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, levels), power tools (e.g., saws), and specialized equipment like tile cutters confidently. Experience with construction inspection processes ensures quality control throughout each phase of work. Communication skills are valued for interactions with clients during remodeling or custom projects. Requirements Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Must have your own tools. Must have your own vehicle as job sites will vary weekly. Good attitude and works well with others. Strong communication skills. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for prolonged periods.
