About Gloss & Grit Gloss & Grit Epoxy & Concrete Coatings is a growing Queens-based company serving Queens, Long Island, NYC, and Westchester. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial concrete-coating systems. We have the equipment, vehicle, materials, branding, and customer leads in place. We are looking for an experienced lead installer who can take ownership of installations and complete projects to a professional standard. Position Overview This is currently a part-time, project-based position with the opportunity to grow into a steady leadership role as our project volume increases. We are seeking one experienced individual—not another company, outside crew, or general laborer. Responsibilities Lead epoxy and concrete-coating installations from preparation through completion Inspect concrete and identify the necessary preparation, repairs, and coating system Operate diamond grinders, vacuums, and surface-preparation equipment Complete crack repair, spall repair, patching, and concrete profiling Install epoxy, full-broadcast flake, solid-color, and polyaspartic systems Accurately mix and apply coating materials Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Communicate clearly with customers and company ownership Ensure every completed project meets company quality standards Lead helpers or a small crew when necessary Experience with metallic epoxy, moisture barriers, quartz systems, urethane cement, or polished concrete is a plus. Qualifications At least three years of professional epoxy-flooring or concrete-coatings experience Strong knowledge of concrete preparation and coating installation Ability to run projects with limited supervision Dependable, detail-oriented, and professional with customers Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel throughout Queens, Long Island, NYC, and Westchester Ability to perform physically demanding work and safely handle equipment Must provide photographs or videos of previously completed projects Compensation and Growth $35-$50 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability Performance and project-completion incentives Opportunity for increasingly consistent work Potential to grow into a long-term lead installation and operations position Potential future profit-sharing based on proven performance, reliability, and commitment Please apply with a brief description of your experience, the flooring systems you have installed, your availability, and photographs or videos of your completed work.
