Tile Assistant (Helper)

Full Job Description:

Growing high-end tile installation company seeking a Tile Helper to assist on residential projects throughout NYC and Long Island. This position is ideal for someone with basic tile experience who wants to learn the trade the right way while working on high-quality installations. You will work directly with a lead installer and play a key role in keeping jobs running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload tools and materials Prepare and clean job sites Mix thinset and mortar Assist with spreading thinset and setting tile Back-butter tiles when needed Make basic cuts using tile saws or grinders Assist with waterproofing and prep work Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

Basic tile experience preferred Must understand mixing thinset, back-buttering, and basic install concepts Willingness to learn and improve Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently

Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation Ability to travel to jobs throughout NYC and Long Island Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work Must be reliable and show up on time

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts

Work Location:

Multiple job sites (NYC & Long Island)
