Job Description

Garage Force ROC is looking for a dedicated and hard-working Floor Coating Installer to join our team. As a Floor Coating Installer, you'll be responsible for the professional and precise application of our high-quality coatings to concrete floors and other surfaces. Our work primarily focuses on garage floors, but also includes patios, porches, and basements. We're seeking a candidate with a strong work ethic and a background in construction or painting who is ready to grow with our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation:
Prepare surfaces by scouring floors, repairing damage, or removing old paint.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate a variety of construction equipment, including large grinders, hand grinders, shop vacs, and floor polishers, etc.
Coating Application:
Accurately mix and apply our coating systems and finishes to achieve the desired results.
Task Management:
Handle planning and prep work efficiently. This includes calculating the necessary materials and time for each task and taping off areas as needed.
Safety & Cleanliness:
Maintain a safe and organized work environment by cleaning up supplies and equipment throughout the process. Additional tasks and duties as they are assigned.
Requirements:
Experience:
A background in painting or construction is preferred. Experience operating general construction equipment is ideal. Problem Solving Attention to detail
Physicality:
Must be able to perform physical labor for 8-12 hours per day and lift 75 pounds or more. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, humid).
Reliability:
Must be dependable and punctual.
Licensing:
Must possess a valid driver's license or be able to obtain one within the first 30 days of employment.
Background Check:
Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal/motor vehicle background check.
Travel:
Ability to travel to job sites as needed. This is a fast-paced position with a starting pay of approximately $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to advance to a Crew Leader position, which comes with increased pay and responsibilities.
