Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Hard Surface Flooring Installer to join our team on an hourly or salary basis. This role is perfect for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is passionate about delivering top-quality flooring solutions. As the lead, you will oversee the installation of various hard surface flooring materials, coordinate with team members, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in flooring installation techniques and construction safety will drive our success and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise flooring installation crews, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to guide installation processes Install a variety of Hard Surface flooring types with precision and attention to detail Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely to perform installations and refinishing work Coordinate material delivery, storage, and handling while maintaining a clean and organized work site Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices Provide mentorship and training to team members on installation techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation including Hardwood, LVT, Laminate, VCT, and Carpet Tiles. -Ceramic and Carpet experience a plus but not required. Strong knowledge of substrate preparation, leveling, and repair. Skilled in using installation related tools and equipment. Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently during installations or restorations Communicate professionally with customers, helpers, and company staff. Complete flooring projects effeciently while maintaining our quality standards. Reliable, Punctual, and Detail-Oriented. Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company van. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
