Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Flooring Installer / Helper and become a vital part of transforming spaces with expert craftsmanship! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse flooring projects, including tile laying, carpet installation, and restoration work. Whether you're experienced in construction or eager to learn, you'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality flooring solutions that enhance our clients' environments. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on roles and are passionate about craftsmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities Assist experienced flooring installers with preparing surfaces, measuring, cutting, and laying various types of flooring materials such as tile, carpet, and vinyl. Support the installation process by handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise installation aligned with project specifications. Prepare work sites by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper surface conditions for flooring installation. Aid in demolition, removal of old flooring, and floor care maintenance as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure construction site environment. Skills Experience in flooring installation including tile laying and carpet setup. Knowledge of blueprint reading for accurate project execution. Proficiency with hand tools (such as caulking guns, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) used in construction tasks. Background in carpentry, trim carpentry, concrete finishing or remodeling is a plus. Familiarity with restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care. Strong understanding of fixture installation, caulking techniques, and construction painting. Previous experience working on construction sites with knowledge of schematics and blueprint layouts is highly desirable. Pay:
