Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Flooring Installer to join our team and deliver exceptional flooring solutions directly to our clients. This role involves installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy, and carpet, with a focus on precision, safety, and quality craftsmanship. As a Flooring Installer committed to working without subcontractors, you will be an integral part of our in-house installation crew, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled tradespeople eager to showcase their expertise in flooring installation and building material handling. Responsibilities Install diverse flooring types such as hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy coatings, and carpeting according to project specifications and technical drawings. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments or adhesives to ensure optimal installation conditions. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials. Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute installation tasks. Perform floor refinishing, buffing, water damage restoration, and floor care maintenance as needed. Ensure compliance with building installation safety standards and regulations throughout all phases of work. Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, trim carpentry elements, caulking, and other building components. Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation including hardwood, vinyl, tile laying, epoxy floor application, carpet installation, and floor refinishing. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools like drills and grinders safely. Ability to handle manual tasks involving lifting heavy materials or equipment while adhering to proper safety protocols. Construction site experience with a solid understanding of building material installation standards and safety compliance. Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques and floor care practices. Experience with drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, remodeling projects, and cabinet setup is a plus. Excellent manual dexterity combined with strong attention to detail for precise craftsmanship.
