Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and refinishing a variety of flooring materials across commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications and industry standards. Must have transportation and must have basic tools Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install various flooring materials including hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy, carpet, and laminate in accordance with construction plans and technical drawings Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and durability of flooring products Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations with precision Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to execute accurate flooring layouts and designs Perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing, sanding, sealing, and water damage restoration to restore existing floors to their original condition Ensure compliance with building installation safety standards by following all safety protocols and regulations during each project Assist with related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, remodeling, and construction painting as needed Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation including hardwood, vinyl, tile laying, epoxy floor installation, carpet installation, and floor refinishing Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or construction plans Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely and effectively Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working on elevated surfaces while maintaining safety standards Construction site experience with a focus on building material installation and water damage restoration is highly desirable Familiarity with the use of caulking, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, fixture installation, remodeling techniques, and construction painting Knowledge of building installation safety compliance regulations within the construction or restoration industry Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in every project Join our team if you're passionate about creating beautiful spaces through expert flooring installation!
