The ideal candidate will have experience in various flooring types and a strong understanding of installation techniques. Duties Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas accurately. Install various types of flooring, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl. Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as necessary. Apply caulking and perform construction painting as needed to finish installations. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Conduct water damage restoration when required, ensuring proper techniques are utilized for effective results. Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with remodeling projects that may involve drywall installation or repair as part of the flooring process. Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields such as carpentry or general construction. Familiarity with floor care techniques and maintenance practices. Ability to lay tile accurately and efficiently while adhering to design specifications. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site effectively. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality finishes in all installations. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
