Maintenance Solutions, Inc. has been serving commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Houston area since 1996, and we're looking for a Concrete Polishing Technician to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, knows how to work with tools and equipment, and wants to build a career in commercial and industrial flooring. Experience is preferred, but it is not required to apply or interview. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidate. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work, we want to hear from you. If you have experience with concrete polishing, surface preparation, grinders, industrial equipment, or commercial flooring, that experience can qualify you for a higher starting rate. What You'll Do Perform concrete grinding, polishing, densifying, sealing, and surface preparation Operate planetary grinders, vacuums, burnishers, and related equipment Follow project specifications and maintain consistent quality throughout the job Help maintain production schedules and keep projects moving efficiently Perform detailed work around edges, joints, walls, and other difficult areas Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Properly care for and maintain flooring equipment and tools Work as part of a professional crew on commercial and industrial job sites Follow company safety procedures and job-site requirements We're Looking For Someone Who Has previous experience with concrete polishing, floor coatings, surface preparation, decorative concrete, or similar commercial flooring work (preferred, but not required) Has experience operating concrete grinders or other industrial flooring equipment (preferred, but not required) Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in quality workmanship Is reliable, punctual, and safety-minded Can follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew Is willing to learn and develop additional flooring skills Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Can lift 50+ pounds and work in an active construction environment What We Offer $18-$26 per hour based on experience and qualifications Full-time, year-round employment On-the-job training Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Opportunities for advancement within a growing company Professional team environment with modern equipment Why Maintenance Solutions?
