In this role, you will lead a job paid by percentage, coordinate project timelines, and ensure the highest quality standards are met on every job site. Your expertise in flooring installation, tile laying, carpentry, and restoration will drive successful project completion while maintaining safety and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Duties Lead and supervise flooring installation, providing guidance and support to ensure timely project completion Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and floor plans to accurately execute installation tasks Prepare job sites by assessing conditions, measuring spaces, and planning workflow for optimal efficiency Install various flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet with attention to detail Perform related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and water damage restoration as needed Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install flooring components Conduct quality inspections throughout projects to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to manage project timelines and material deliveries Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and construction site regulations Assist in construction estimating for future projects by assessing scope of work and material requirements Experience Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, carpentry, or related construction fields Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to flooring projects Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete finishing, remodeling, and floor care techniques Background in water damage restoration or the restoration industry is highly desirable Familiarity with fixture installation, caulking and trim carpentry Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and project management skills Previous leadership roles or supervisory experience leading installation crews or handyman teams is preferred Join us as a Lead Floor Installer where your craftsmanship meets leadership!
