Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring and wall tiles, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces through high-quality tile installation, restoration, and remodeling projects. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install tiles for floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces with accuracy and attention to detail. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute tile layouts effectively. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install tiles according to project specifications. Perform surface preparation tasks such as drywall installation, floor refinishing, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed before tile installation. Ensure compliance with building installation safety standards throughout all phases of work. Assist with related tasks including epoxy floor installation, vinyl floor installation, hardwood flooring, carpet laying, and water damage restoration when required. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, building material installation, and flooring installation including tile laying. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and flooring projects. Strong understanding of interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans. Knowledge of various flooring materials such as epoxy floors, vinyl, hardwoods, carpets, drywall, and concrete finishing. Ability to handle manual tasks safely with proper manual handling techniques. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety compliance and quality standards. Familiarity with restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care is a plus.
