We refinish hardwood and hard-surface floors without sanding. No dust, no week-long disruption, and about a third of the cost of traditional refinishing. We show up in the morning and the customer is walking on a finished floor the next day. ReCoat Revolution is a local, owner-operated business serving the Salt Lake Valley, Park City, and Ogden. We're growing, and we hire with the intent to promote.

WHY WE PAY WHAT WE PAY

Most floor and janitorial work in the Salt Lake Valley starts around $16-18 an hour. We start at $20 and go to $30, because we're not looking for warm bodies. We're looking for people we can train into Team Leads and keep for years.

THE ROLE

You'll work alongside our General Manager on residential and commercial floor jobs

• cleaning, prepping, and applying commercial-grade finish.

Most jobs start and finish in one day. You'll see the result of your work before you go home. All equipment, materials, and training are provided and paid. Flooring experience is a plus but is not required. We care more about showing up on time, working clean, and taking pride in the finish.

• residential and commercial Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Homes and commercial sites across the Salt Lake Valley, Park City, and Ogden. Night shift
• healthcare facility floor care 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Floor restoration at a large medical campus in Salt Lake City, working while the building is quiet. Night shift pays at the upper end of the range. If you've done overnight commercial cleaning or hospital EVS work, this is a raise and a step up. Open to either? Say so. We have room for people who can flex. You won't be scheduled for a day shift and a night shift in the same 24 hours. We don't burn people out.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Clean, prep, and refinish hardwood, tile, LVT, and vinyl floors Operate floor machines

• buffers, scrubbers, extractors
• after paid training Move and protect furniture and fixtures; leave every site cleaner than you found it Follow the job scope and sequence exactly; the quality of the finish is the whole product Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and facility staff Flag problems early
• floor conditions, equipment issues, safety concerns

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Reliable transportation to job sites across the Salt Lake Valley, and a valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check Physical stamina

prior flooring experience, a resume, or a trade certification. We train.

PAY AND GROWTH

$20 to $30 per hour, based on experience and shift Monthly performance bonus

• about $150 a month
• for zero no-shows, zero late arrivals, and zero jobs that need a redo 15 to 30 hours per week, scheduled around job volume Paid training; all equipment and materials provided Part-time positions are not benefits-eligible

WHERE THIS GOES

This is a training pipeline, not a dead-end shift. Technicians who prove out on quality, reliability, and customer handling move into Team Lead

• running the scope and sequence on a job, training new techs, driving the company vehicle, and owning the result.

Team Lead is a full-time position with a monthly stipend toward health coverage. We'd rather grow one than hire one.
