Hardwood Flooring Technician ShenValley Floors is looking for a Hardwood Flooring Technician who takes pride in craftsmanship and understands that hardwood flooring is both a trade and an art form. We specialize in hardwood floor installation, sanding, refinishing, repairs, custom stain work, and restoration projects. We are seeking someone who pays attention to details, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a company that values quality over cutting corners. Responsibilities Hardwood floor installation Sanding and refinishing hardwood floors Floor repairs and board replacement Custom stain application Finish application (water-based and oil-based systems) Site preparation and protection of customer homes Job site cleanup and equipment maintenance Experience With The Following Is Preferred Drum or belt sanders Edgers Buffers Orbital sanders Hand scraping and detail sanding Sanding sequences and grit progression Stain matching Polyurethane and finish application Hardwood floor repairs Base shoe and trim installation What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and with a team Reliable transportation Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to lift flooring materials and equipment Professional appearance and communication with customers This Position Is For Someone Who...
