Thomas Tile and Stone LLC is hiring an experienced tile installer capable of independently running custom residential bathrooms and showers from preparation through completion. This is not an entry-level, helper, or apprentice position. We have an immediate need for an experienced installer who can be given a project and complete it efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. What We're Looking For Extensive professional tile installation experience Ability to independently run complete bathroom and shower projects Strong layout and problem-solving skills Shower preparation and waterproofing experience Experience with Schluter/Kerdi systems preferred Custom shower floors, niches, curbs and walls Porcelain, ceramic, natural stone and large-format tile experience Excellent wet-saw and grinder skills Ability to evaluate substrates and identify problems before installation Proper mortar coverage, flatness and lippage control Professional grouting and finish work Ability to maintain production speed without sacrificing quality Dependable attendance and professional conduct around homeowners, builders and other trades Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Compensation & Benefits $27-$32/hour depending on demonstrated experience and ability Full-time, consistent work with a strong backlog Company work truck available for the right qualified installer Company-paid fuel for work-related driving when using company vehicle Company-provided setting materials and job-related supplies Opportunity for increased responsibility and advancement The upper end of the pay range is for an installer who can independently manage high-end residential tile projects from prep and layout through installation and completion.
