In this active, high-craft trade position, you will inspect and prep subfloors, coordinate with project managers and superintendents on layout design, and install a wide variety of flooring materials including luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, hardwood, carpet, and tile. Flooring Installer:

Inspect, clean, level, and prep subfloors (concrete and wood), ensuring flat, dry, and debris-free surfaces prior to installation. Collaborate closely with project managers and site superintendents to verify layout designs, material allocations, and transitions. Measure, cut, fit, and secure diverse floor coverings including hardwood, luxury vinyl plank/tile (LVP/LVT), sheet vinyl, laminate, and carpet. Install underlayment, moisture barriers, baseboards, quarter-rounds, t-moldings, and threshold transitions cleanly. Safely operate flooring equipment and hand/power tools, including table saws, jamb saws, miter saws, pneumatic staplers, floor sanders, and trowels. Perform final cleanups, adhesive removal, and quality walk-throughs to ensure zero installation defects. Pay Rate:

$20.00 - $24.00+ / hour (Scaling based on installation versatility, finishing experience, and trade depth / DOE).

Schedule:

Full-Time Monday - Friday (Occasional Saturday availability based on client deadlines).

Trade Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on flooring installation or finishing experience preferred.

Licensing:

Must possess a valid Driver's License and dependable personal transportation. Skilled in reading tape measures, calculating material yields, and using specialized flooring hand and power tools.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work continuously on knees, bend, squat, lift and carry materials up to 50-75 lbs , and stay active throughout the shift. High attention to detail, pride in clean work, and ability to take and execute directions smoothly. Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable teamwork.
