As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert installation of various flooring materials, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Duties Measure, cut, and install a variety of flooring materials including laminate, LVP, LVT, glue down products, and carpet according to project specifications and technical drawings Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces to meet industry standards for durability and appearance Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut and secure flooring materials effectively Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, baseboards, moldings, and transitions as needed for complete flooring projects Follow all building installation safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment while adhering to local codes and regulations Requirements Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) with a focus on safety compliance is preferred but not necessary Ability to handle manual tasks including lifting heavy materials safely during installation or restoration projects Experience with drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, concrete finishing or remodeling is a plus Familiarity with construction site safety standards and building material handling procedures Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail Willingness to work overtime when necessary Join us as a Flooring Installer where your craftsmanship will elevate spaces!
